Alternative Work; From A to Z
TAG excels in all phases of the investigation, design and implementation of alternative work programs including telework, compressed workweeks, mobile work and virtual work that maximize the impact on our clients' bottom lines as well as the employees and communities.
Alternative Work Policies
TAG owns a formatted system that covers all of the critical areas of a thorough alternative work policy. A policy is an important element for all of the employees affected by an alternative work program within an organization. Participation requirements, guidelines, rules, expectations, liability and many other topics are covered in an effective policy.
Alternative Work Agreements
An alternative work agreement represents the contract between the employee, their manager and the organization. The agreement includes details about the employee's type of alternative work arrangement and how their program operates within their workgroup and organization.
On-Line Surveys
TAG uses an on-line survey tool that individuals access via the Internet at their leisure. TAG customizes each of our surveys based on our client's specific needs. Using our validated library of survey questions developed by Industrial Organizational Ph.D.'s, surveys are distributed via the Internet. Gathering information from employees and managers prior to implementing a telework pilot and/or program is a valuable factor in the design and overall success of the program. Post pilot/implementation surveys provide detailed information on the success of the program and where adjustments to the program may be needed.
Work Suitability Assessment (WSA)
TAG's Work Suitability Assessment (WSA) is the only validated job assessment in the industry. The WSA is an interactive on-line assessment that employees and their manager utilize to collaboratively determine what specific job-tasks can be performed as well, or even more effectively, during non-standard work hours and/or remotely. The WSA assists each employee in identifying optimal job-tasks for each type of alternative work arrangement as well as each employee's collaboration needs with co-workers and/or customers. The WSA identifies the associated performance metrics that the employee and manager will track as part of the program.
Employee Suitability Assessment (ESA)
TAG's ESA, another unique and validated employee assessment tool, is an on-line assessment that provides employees feedback about their readiness to work in a remote environment. This situational-judgment tool is based on six personal competencies that our research has demonstrated are critical for an employee to thrive in a remote work environment. Results help each employee understand how each competency is critical for teleworkers and how they can develop additional proficiency in each competency.
Social Needs Assessment (SNA)
TAG's SNA gauges both the personal and task related social needs of employees as they relate to working remotely.
Remote Worksite Assessment (WSA)
TAG's WSA evaluates employees' remote worksites in regards to ergonomics, data and document security, safety and productivity.
Telework Web Portals
TAG collaborates with our clients to create and maintain web portals that provide employees and managers access to essential information, tools, instructions and support in one centralized area. Web portals have proven to be extremely valuable in organizations' communication plans and allow employees to investigate telework in a low-risk environment.
Remote Collaboration
Organizations can reap significant gains and reduce wear and tear on employees through reduced regional and national travel. TAG's Remote Collaboration Program provides both the technical foundation and business know-how for employees and managers to utilize today's web and video based technologies to effectively complete job-tasks without the cost, time and effort required to travel.
